Schedule A – Fees

Schedule A — Fees & Charges

Zelfi Ltd (trading as Zelf) Effective date: 30/06/2026

This Schedule forms part of the Agreement between You and Us. It sets out every charge that may apply to a Booking. Where a charge arises from damage, an Incident or a Breakdown, this Schedule works alongside Schedule B and Schedule C — those Schedules govern whether You are liable; this Schedule sets the amounts.

A1. How this Schedule works

The prices shown in the App and on Our website at the time You make a Booking are the total prices that apply to that Booking. If We update this Schedule after Your Booking is made, the version in force at the time of Your Booking continues to apply to it.

All charges in this Schedule are stated inclusive of VAT where VAT applies. The Deposit/Hold is not a charge for a service and is not subject to VAT.

A2. Deposit / Payment Hold

Amount£300
When takenCharged at the point You start Your Booking
How it worksThe £300 is charged to Your registered payment method when You unlock the Vehicle. It is not a pre-authorisation — it is an actual charge, held as security for the duration of Your Booking
RefundRefunded after Your Booking ends, provided no amounts are outstanding under this Agreement. Refunds typically take a few business days depending on Your payment provider and bank
Wallet bypassIf You have a sufficient balance in Your Wallet, the deposit may not be triggered — the system will verify Your balance at the start of Your Booking
If amounts are owedIf any charge becomes payable under Schedule A, B or C, We will apply the deposit before refunding any remainder — see Schedule B, B3
VATThe Deposit/Hold is not a charge for a service and is not subject to VAT

A2A. Wallet and payment flow during Your Booking

StageWhat happens
Before Your Booking startsYou pay the Rental Cost for Your booked period upfront when making the Booking
During Your BookingMileage and fuel charges are not monitored during the ride — they are calculated and charged at the end
If You go over Your booked periodOnce You exceed Your original Booking period — whether by extending Yourself, Us extending it, or simply continuing to drive — the system begins depleting Your Wallet balance for the additional time at the applicable rate
Automatic top-up (default setting)Automatic top-up is enabled by default on Your Account. When Your Wallet balance reaches -£150, the system automatically charges Your registered payment method £150 and adds it to Your Wallet, returning Your balance to £0. This may happen more than once during a single Booking if Your balance falls to -£150 again. You may disable automatic top-up in the App, but see below if You do
If automatic top-up is disabled or failsIf automatic top-up is not enabled or a top-up charge fails and Your Wallet balance reaches -£155, the Vehicle will be remotely blocked from being restarted. You will need to contact Us to resolve the situation before You can continue — the Vehicle cannot be restarted without Our intervention
At the end of Your BookingThe total Rental Cost (including any extra time, mileage and fuel) is calculated. Any amounts already collected through automatic top-ups are deducted, and any remaining balance is charged to Your registered payment method
Wallet refundsIf You have a positive Wallet balance after Your Booking ends, We will refund it to Your registered payment method within 1 business day of Your Booking ending, without You needing to request it. Refunds typically take a few additional business days to reach Your account depending on Your payment provider and bank. If You would prefer to keep the balance in Your Wallet for future Bookings, You can enable this in the App

Important: By starting a Booking, You authorise Us to charge Your registered payment method automatically through the top-up process described above. You should ensure Your payment method has sufficient available funds before and during a Booking. If You choose to disable automatic top-up, You accept the risk of the Vehicle being remotely blocked from restarting if Your Wallet balance reaches -£155.

If the Vehicle is blocked from restarting. If the Vehicle is remotely blocked from restarting under this section, contact Us immediately. We will work with You to resolve the payment issue so that the block can be lifted. If the Vehicle is in a location where it cannot safely be left — for example, on a motorway hard shoulder or in a restricted area — tell Us when You call and We will prioritise resolving the situation. You remain responsible for the Vehicle until Your Booking is properly ended, and charges continue to accrue. Any recovery, towing or relocation costs arising from a Wallet-triggered block are Your responsibility, since the block results from a payment shortfall rather than a fault with the Vehicle or Our Service.

Business Accounts. Where a Business Account has been approved for invoiced billing under Main Agreement Clause 1A.8, the invoiced terms confirmed in writing for that Account apply in place of the Deposit/Hold and Wallet mechanism described in A2 and this section for Bookings made under that Account.

A3. Cancellations and no-shows

Notice given before Booking startCharge
More than 72 hoursNo charge — full refund
48 to 72 hours33% of the Rental Cost
24 to 48 hours66% of the Rental Cost
Less than 24 hours, or no-showNo refund
After the Vehicle has been unlockedNo refund

Reservations. If You have made a reservation rather than an immediate Booking, You have a 30-minute grace period from the reservation start time. If You do not unlock the Vehicle within that period, a £15 no-show fee applies.

How cancellation charges are calculated. Cancellation charges are calculated against the Rental Cost of Your Booking only, excluding the Deposit/Hold. The Deposit/Hold is released separately in accordance with A2.

Refunds. Where a refund is due, it will be processed to Your original payment method. Refunds typically take a few business days depending on Your payment provider and bank.

ChargeAmount
Late return — time chargeCharged at the applicable hourly or daily rate for Your Vehicle as shown in the App at the time of Your Booking, for each hour or part-hour beyond Your Booking end time, until the Booking is properly ended in the App
Late return — admin fee£25, applied where You have not extended Your Booking in the App or contacted Us to arrange an extension before Your Booking end time
Failure to end Booking in the App£25 admin fee, in addition to any late time charge above
Wrong location — outside geofence or not in designated bay£40, plus any recovery, relocation or towing costs actually incurred
Illegal parking or preventing access£40, plus any actual third-party costs incurred
Vehicle left unlocked, windows open or lights on£40, plus any costs resulting from the breach
Recovery, towing or relocation — where caused by YouActual cost plus £50 admin fee

Ending Your Booking. Your Booking is not ended until You complete the check-in process in the App, including all required photos under Schedule B, B5. Time continues to accrue until this is done. Returning the Vehicle to a location does not by itself end the Booking.

A5. Mileage and fuel

Mileage. All Bookings include unlimited mileage, subject to Our Fair Use Policy below.

Fair Use Policy — mileage

Booking lengthDaily average allowanceExcess charge (per mile over allowance)
1–3 daysUnlimitedNot applicable
4–5 days300 miles per day25p per mile
6–7 days250 miles per day25p per mile
8–14 days200 miles per day25p per mile
15–21 days150 miles per day25p per mile
22–28 days100 miles per day25p per mile

How the allowance works. The daily average is calculated across Your whole Booking — total miles driven divided by number of days. The excess charge applies only to miles above the total allowance, not to every mile driven.

Example. A 10-day Booking has a total allowance of 2,000 miles (10 × 200). If You drive 2,400 miles, the excess is 400 miles — charged at 25p per mile, giving a total excess charge of £100.

When it applies. The excess charge is calculated automatically at the end of Your Booking based on the table above. We will notify You of any excess mileage charge before applying it.

Fuel

Fuel policyReturn the Vehicle with at least the same fuel level recorded at the start of Your Booking
ToleranceUp to ⅛ of a tank below the start level is allowed at no charge
Missing fuel chargeIf the fuel level at return is more than ⅛ below the start level, You will be charged for the missing fuel at the per-litre rate shown in the App at the time of Your Booking
Running out of fuelIf You run out of fuel in a way that could reasonably have been avoided — £75 call-out and admin fee, plus any actual recovery or assistance costs
Over-fuellingNo reimbursement for fuel added above the start level, unless We expressly offer a refuelling credit
MisfuellingActual recovery, drainage and repair costs, cost of replacement fuel at the per-litre rate shown in the App, plus a £75 admin fee — see also Schedule B, B2(j)

A6. Cleaning, smoking and odours

ChargeAmount
Light clean£25 — applied where the Vehicle requires cleaning beyond normal use, such as excessive dirt, mud or debris
Deep clean£60 — applied where the Vehicle requires a full interior or exterior deep clean
Biohazard or specialist clean£250, or the actual invoice cost if higher — applied where specialist cleaning is required due to bodily fluids, hazardous materials or similar
Smoking or vaping (the Smoking Remediation Fee)£200, plus the cost of a deep clean if required — applied where any evidence of smoking or vaping is found in the Vehicle, regardless of whether visible damage has occurred. See also Schedule B, B6
Strong odour or specialist treatment£100, or the actual specialist cost if higher — applied where persistent odour requires specialist treatment beyond a standard deep clean

General. Cleaning charges reflect the actual condition of the Vehicle on return and are applied at Our reasonable discretion. More than one charge may apply where the condition of the Vehicle warrants it — for example, a smoking charge and a deep clean charge may both apply.

A7. Damage, admin, repair and loss of use

ChargeAmount
Damage or Incident admin fee£50 — applied per Incident or damage event where You are liable under Schedule B
Repair or replacementActual costs of repair or replacement where You are liable under Schedule B — see Schedule B, B2 and Schedule B, B2A
Loss of use66% of the daily rate for Your Vehicle as shown in the App, per day the Vehicle is off the road, capped at 14 days, or the actual evidenced loss if lower. Applied only where You are liable under Schedule B and only where We choose to enforce it — see Schedule C, C6

Loss of use — how it works. Loss of use reflects the revenue We lose while a Vehicle is off the road being repaired. The 66% rate accounts for the fact that a Vehicle is not in use 100% of the time. We will provide evidence of the repair period on request. The cap of 14 days applies even where repairs take longer.

Repair costs. Where the Vehicle is repaired through Our insurers, Your liability under Schedule B governs whether You are responsible for any costs — the Insurance Excess is Our cost, not Yours. See Schedule B, B9.

A8. Fines, tolls and authority handling

ChargeAmount
Admin fee per penalty charge notice, fine or authority request£30 per notice or request — applied each time We have to process, respond to or transfer a fine, penalty charge notice, toll, congestion charge, clean air zone charge or similar
Clamp releaseActual release costs plus £150 admin fee
Impound releaseActual impound, storage and release costs plus £150 admin fee
Card verification fee£1 — charged when You add a new payment card to Your Account, applied by Our payment provider to verify the card is valid and active

How fines and charges work. You are responsible for all fines, penalty charge notices, tolls, congestion charges, clean air zone charges and similar costs incurred during Your Booking. Where possible We will transfer liability to You directly with the relevant authority — see Schedule B, B10–B12 for how this works. Where transfer is not possible, We will pay the charge and recover it from You as a contractual debt, together with Our admin fee.

London bus lane and camera-enforced moving traffic contraventions. These cannot be transferred to You by law regardless of what this Schedule says — the relevant legislation makes Us liable as registered keeper with no transfer mechanism available. We will pay these and recover the amount from You under this Schedule, together with Our admin fee.

A9. Cross-border charges

ChargeAmount
Approval and admin fee£30 — payable when You request permission to take the Vehicle outside Great Britain
Daily use fee£30 per day for each day the Vehicle is outside Great Britain
Foreign breakdown and assistancePassed through at actual cost
Documentation and third-party chargesPassed through at actual cost

How cross-border works. You must obtain Our prior written agreement before taking the Vehicle outside Great Britain — see Schedule B, B4.6. Once cross-border costs have been committed or incurred, they are non-refundable. The approval and admin fee is payable whether or not the trip proceeds once approved.

A10. Interest on overdue amounts

Where any amount due under this Agreement remains unpaid after the date it falls due, interest will accrue on the outstanding balance at the Bank of England base rate plus 4% per annum, calculated on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment in full.

Interest accrues daily but does not compound — it is calculated on the original outstanding balance, not on accumulated interest.

We reserve the right to claim interest under this clause in addition to, and without prejudice to, any other right or remedy available to Us under this Agreement or at law.
